Frances Liang was born and raised an artist in New York City and dedicates her career to nail specialty, creating art on natural nails. She was formerly the lead manicurist and key nail artist at a tenoverten salon, and is currently the nail art creative at sundays studio where she designs conceptualized nail art menus seasonally for the brand.
Frances’s original nail art images have inspired countless individuals and have been shared across digital medias such as in Refinery29, Allure, PureWow, Brit + Co, and women’s magazines including Brides, Glamour, Harper’s Bazaar and Good Housekeeping.
Having 6 years of professional experience, she now spends a large portion of time on set for commercial shoots and occasionally, editorial shoots. Frances has been the key manicurist for clients including but not limited to: Samsung, Visa, LVMH, Zara, L'Oréal, Adidas, Citizen Watch Co., Jalou Media, Times Inc., Meredith, Condé Nast, Hearst Magazines.
Her recent work featuring timeless manicures can be found in Reflekts’ brand relaunch images and in Greenwich St. Jewelers’ holiday book, both released on November 15th of 2018. Frances is available to discuss nail-related opportunities on a case-by-case basis.

Frances is New York State licensed in Nail Specialty. She holds a BFA in Communications Design—Graphic Design from Pratt Institute, Brooklyn, New York since 2011, and was awarded the Presidential Merit Scholarship 2007–2011.
